Pronto Cooking School

Looking back there was a lot of good cooking going on at the Pronto Cooking School. November saw a great turnout for our bullet class of Moroccan Tagine, couscous and lemon tart. We had a small group for the Flavors of the Italian Jewish Kitchen but what a great lunch, and we got to eat outside on November 13th. Kat kept us busy with a vegetarian thanksgiving  followed by vegan holiday desserts.  My favorite to end the year was a private party were all the guests made ” dim sum”…. followed by a class on the same topic. Thank you to all you gift certificate buyers, I can’t wait to meet your Moms, sisters and friends in class. The January and February class schedule will be posted by the first of the new year. Happy New Year to all and I hope 2011 brings much needed peace and good health to all.

 

Greetings from the warm and cozy kitchen at Pronto. Its been getting busy… Thank you to all who have been supporting us. A big thank you to the folks at Rural Intelligence for such a terrific article about Pronto in their on-line newsletter. It brought many new students to our front door. The Thursdays classes are catching on. Arrive at 10am and cook for an hour and half or so and walk out the door with dinner for two.  Its social, fun and pretty cool to head home with dinner for the night or next day. Saturday is lots more cooking, learning new recipes and techniques and the class sits down to lunch… wine included. I will be posting the December classes shortly, we are adding 3 Sunday classes as well. Thanks again supporters, sign up for our weekly e-mail blasts that keep you posted on what happening.

 

Phone calls and e mails are being fired along and we will be announcing soon upcoming wine dinners and visits from some great chef/friends from Boston.

I’m busy working on the fall /early winter schedule now. We should have it posted by Monday the 13th of September.
